Stillwater City Council Cancels Summer Events Through July 31, 2020
The Stillwater City Council at its regular meeting tonight, May 5, 2020, cancelled two more weeks of summer events. All events through July 31, 2020 are hereby cancelled in the City of Stillwater. The City Council will continue to review the remainder of the summer event schedule at their next Council meeting in light of further guidance from Governor Walz’ office on Stay at Home orders and businesses reopening in Minnesota. Stillwater Farmers Market
Saturday, June 16 thru October 31, 7:30 am to 12 pm
Throughout the season this market is full of locally grown fresh produce, plants, and goods. It is held in the Riverview Parking Lot on Pine Street across from the Historic Washington County Courthouse. Stop on by between 7:30 am and 12 pm. Cruisin' on the Croix Car Show (cancelled prior to July 31)
Wednesday, August 5th & 16th and September 2nd & 16th
There's nothing better than a summer evening spent down by the river in downtown Stillwater. Come down to Lowell park in Historic Downtown Stillwater to see some great vintage cars on select Wednesday from 4 pm to 10 pm. The car show is free and open to the public. Relay for Life
Friday and Saturday, August 7th and 8th - 6 pm to 9 pm
The Relay for Life of Stillwater is the 26th annual fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. At Relay for Life we celebrate the lives of survivors, remember those who we have lost to cancer, and fight back against a disease that takes too much from too many people. Cancer doesn't sleep, so neither do we. Relay is an overnight event to parallel the physical effects, emotion, and mental state of cancer patients while undergoing treatment. Relay is a moving, inspiring, and life changing event that brings together a community to fight back against cancer.
